I wanted to exploit the potential of 3D printing without the designs being recognisable as additively manufactured at first glance. Instead of textured surfaces or playful, futuristic shapes, the focus is on a clear, reduced design language based on familiar typologies. Thoughtful details – such as the connecting fins of the lamp, which are subtly highlighted by the light source, or the soft edge detail of the tables, which combines recycled sheet material and filament – give the objects an unexpected depth and make them special at second glance. - Marc Gerber
